The Miss Springfield Scholarship Program is one of approximately 24 local preliminary pageants in the Miss Missouri system. This is an open program in which any eligible contestant from within the state of Missouri can compete. The Miss Missouri pageant is an official preliminary to Miss America.
The Miss America Organization, with which the Miss Springfield Pageant is affiliated, is the largest single source of scholarship funds for young women in the world and at all levels is a completely nonprofit organization.
